One of their first designers, in a 20 year old company. Consafe Logistics develops warehouse management systems. They were falling behind the competition and they needed help, they needed designers. They took in 2 designers and Julia was one of them. Together they had the mission to start up their design organisation and educate the company how to start working design driven. Julia took lead into conducting research: Internal and external customers interviews, visiting warehouses using their solution. Gathered and documented insights on how their customers are using their many solutions.

Their smallest tool was a 3PL system, that was the first tool they wanted us to work hands on with. We redesigned the tool and had to remake all their icons since we noticed they had errors in them, making them difficult to use.

 

The work at Consafe Logistics ranged from user research, creating customer journeys, mapping the information architecture, UX-flows, UI-design and visual design. The initial work Julia did for the company had them set aside budget to hire full designteam.
